ZoomSafer: Safe Driving Application Now Available for Android Phones

zoom

ZoomSafer announced today that their new innovative "safe driving software" is now available for Android smartphones.  Once enabled the software disables emailing and texting as well as manages other inbound and outbound communications based on client-controlled & administrative policies.

For instance, policy options include allowing "hands-free" phone calls along with an auto-reply function.  The auto-reply function is able to let others know that the user is driving and is unavailable to chat at this time. This application automatically launches when you begin to drive & automatically turns off when you are finished driving.  Any parents of teens out there know that this app could literally be a life saver for them (and for adults too, let's be honest!)

Anyone who is interested in participating in the ZoomSafer beta program can click HERE to get started.  Android 2.2(froyo) or newer is required.

These guys can also be found in Booth #2334 at CES 2011 in Las Vegas.
