Newegg mobile is pretty full-featured for a 1.0 release, including account support, wish lists, quickly view daily deals, shell-shocker deal of the day, and the ability search for whatever awesome product you may be looking for using text entry.

Dolphin HD browser for Android - Review

DolphinHD

This will certainly warrant a longer look, but for now suffice it to say that I’ve been greatly enjoying the Dolphin HD browser for the past month or so. A browser is one of those apps that takes a while to fully appreciate. I’d loved to have typed up a full walk-through and review for today, but the browser is such an integral part of the smartphone experience that I don’t want to sell it short. Even if you’re happy enough with the default browser, I think you’ll enjoy Dolphin a bit more.

VEVO-on-YouTube-Android-Native-App-screenshot-180x300

YouTube’s been updated recently, apparently, and it brings with it a way for users to find more music easily. Official music videos recognized by YouTube now receive a music note badge, and a new tab will appear showing you related artists and more music by who you’re listening to. Outlets such as VEVO – who released their own Android app yesterday – also get a pretty banner beneath their videos.

Change your Battery Icons without Flashing with this app

22705401

Most of the times you want to modify your battery icons, you have to flash an update.zip or push files to your phone with adb. Not anymore if you are a proud owner of a Galaxy S, Epic, Nexus One, HTC Hero CDMA or HTC Magic.

XDA-member appelflap and impaler747 teamed up to make battery icon mods as simple as possible, and they did a good job. They actually put together an app, for root users only of course, which makes modifying the battery icon a walk in the park.
